This week's protein ball flavour is....HONEYCOMB! A delicious one for those of you who love things super sweet (like I do!) and as always, they're under 100 calories & gluten free too.
Servings: Makes 8 Balls
Macros per ball:
87 calories / 5g protein / 10g carbs / 3g fat / 1g fibre
Ingredients:
30g oats (regular or gluten free)
40g vanilla protein powder
3 tbsp honey
2 tbsp cashew butter
2 tsp water
20g honeycomb pieces (I used Mini Honeycomb pieces found in the baking aisle at Sainsbury's if you have large pieces that's also fine - just crush them up first).
Instructions:
1. Place all ingredients (except for honeycomb pieces) into blender & blend until mix sticks together - if mix is not sticking add a few extra drops of water (but be careful the mix does not become too wet!).
2. Stir in honeycomb pieces.
3. Scoop out mix using spoon & roll into 8 even sized balls.
4. Pop into fridge to harden for 15 minutes.
5. Eat! :-)
