4 Ingredient Nutella Brownies
Now my photoshoot prep is over I have room for one of my favourite foods back in my diet - NUTELLA!
This recipe actually started out as a protein ball but ended up being a bit too runny so I added some baking powder, popped it in the oven & voila...4 Ingredient Nutella Brownies!
Servings: Makes 10 brownies
Macros per brownie:
100kcal / 6g protein / 10g carbs / 4g fat / 1g fibre
Ingredients:
60g oats (regular or gluten free) - blended into a fine flour
60g chocolate protein powder (casein works best in these as whey can go a bit tough)
100g Nutella
3/4 tsp baking powder
Water (as needed) - can replace with milk of choice for an overall creamier texture if preferred.
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 180c.
2. Place all ingredients in blender/mixer - Add water gradually until mix stirs easily (I used about 5 tbsp) - It should be a thick batter - not too runny.
3. Line a baking tin with non stick baking paper - I went for a flat square tin for square pieces. Pour mix into tin & spread out evenly.
4. Bake in oven for 10-12 minutes (brownies should still be gooey when they come out).
5. Remove from tin, slice into squares - enjoy warm or place on a wire rack to cool. :-)
Tip: If coming back to a batch later - try popping them in the microwave for a few seconds to make them gooey again!
